As on old member of this forum I along with several others have grown tired with the negative crap.. You are a scum.. That illegall ..Herre is a copy and paste from another forum which I am a member

If I were a moderator on this forum I would promote postitive aspects of karaoke and try to eliminate these childish arguments of legalalities and the the very thing which most everybody here loves. If you dont support an aspiring Kj then dont post,,.... It is personal opinion that does nothing to promote this forum or our businesses The first thing this forum hits a newbie with is legalites which nobady knows Start promoting karaoke instead of yout personal agenda..
I am tired of the crap and have you noticed alot of the regs gone .. Wake up!!!

What, telling someone that certain practices are illegal is wrong? Get real. Just because you don't happen to like the current law doesn't mean it's right to tell someone new that it is ok to break it.

What current law? Quit trying to stretch a law to satisfy your your own gains.
When karaoke is as dead there as it is here then I guess everybody accomplished their mission...

If the cd manu adhered to the copyright laws and paid the reproduction fees, how does this apply to me as a singer? If I have to drag one of worthless cd's out of the thousands in a dusty closet to sing in public then I will stay at home..
The insanity that has most every town in this country wondering how they can save what small businessses they have and and bring the shoppers back from the malls is the same insanity that has congress, this country and every issue is he same insanity that split this forum right down the middle. It is the same insanity that killed karaoke here but I have a plan lets pass some moe laws...
We can continue to feed and fester this insanity or start applying resources to viable solutions.. The choice is simple but your very vocation depends upon the right choice.. I am one of those that laws or choices wont affect my business because I made the choice to quit shoveling sand against the tides.

In the twilight hours all I wanted was to trying to add to a minimal soc sec income.. I spent soc sec momey for many cd's which now are useless.. It was a venture which eventually cost me more than it was worth.. Buying karaoke cd's and trying to make a honest living in 80% of any country is impossible..
Take your copyright laws and shove them where the sun doesnt shine If you can jusify enabling this nonsense then respond If not get off my....
EDIT: You know what to ll you liberals that want the GOV and laws to solve your problems and sue happy people I am gone BYE...

The negative crap is frustrating, but piriating of music is still wrong, no matter how you look at it. I feel that anyone that does not buy their music, downloaded or CDs, is scum. After you buy it I realy don't care what you do with it, as long as you don't give copies to others. It is yours and do with it what you like.

Yes thoes are my opinions, but piracy and format shifing for comercials use is still illegal, no matter what spin you put on it that is a fact.
And if a newbie comes along along and asks how to burn his mp3+g tracks that he just downaloed from limewire (or similar), so he can be a KJ host, I should tell him how to do it and keep my opinions to my self about piracy?

twansenne, I'm confused.......Do you use only original cdgs in your show?

Maybe what he means is that on occassion if you think someone is asking a question about something illegal...instead of assuming this person KNOWS that that is the case and jumping down their throats, a personal PM explaining the situation might keep newbies from leaving and or never bothering to post again.

I see people touting what they think is the total truth and there is so much more to it than what they are saying. there are alot of issues up in the air right now, but certain people continue to put out half truths as the gospel.
