I don't remember much Italian. It doesn't appear to be a form a spanish. Mesa would translate as Table, Stathes perhaps states ? Provale in Italian though is "they try", but that's not correct phrasing I don't think, Of course it might be Serb too, or slovak. They tried___ mesa states___ to here to do so ? Ollie, post a few more lyrics. Something's not right with that as it stands. |

Unless you sing a verse of O Sole Mio that Andrea Bocelli didn't sing, it ain't that. I thought maybe the words were spelled phoenetically on the screen...? |

Words in English The road is dark until I meet you. Meet me in the road that I may give you my hand. Make your bed for two, for you and for me, that we may embrace each other from the start and all will be brought back to life. I embraced you, you embraced me. You took from me and I took from you. I lost myself in your eyes and in your fate. Words in Native Tongue O dromos ine skotinos ospu na síandamoso. Kseprovale me sto strati to khyeri na su dhoso. |

Zorba the Greek (originally titled Alexis Zorbas) is a 1964 film based on the novel Zorba the Greek by Nikos Kazantzakis. The film was directed by Michael Cacoyannis and the title character was played by Anthony Quinn–who was not Greek but in fact Mexican American. The supporting cast included Alan Bates as a visiting Englishman. The theme, "Sirtaki" by Mikis Theodorakis, is famous. The movie was shot on location on the Greek island of Crete. Specific places featured include the town of Chania, the Apokoronas region and the Akrotiri peninsula. The famous scene, in which Quinn's character dances the Sirtaki, was shot on the beach of the village of Stavros. The movie won three Academy Awards. Lila Kedrova won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, Vassilis Fotopoulos won the Oscar for Best Art Direction in black-and-white set decoration, and Walter Lassally won the Oscar for Best Cinematography in black-and-white. Lassally's Oscar is shown in Tavern Christiana in Stavros. Quinn received the nomination for Best Leading Actor in a leading role and Michael Cacoyannis received three nominations for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Writing, and Screenplay Based on Material from Another Medium. Alexis Zorbas (1964) Genre: Drama (more) Tagline: Life. Lust. Love. Zorba. Plot Summary: An aimless Englishman finds he has a small inheritance on a Greek island. His joyless existence is disturbed when he meets Zorba,a middle aged Greek with a real lust for life. As he discovers the earthy pleasures of Greece, the Englishman finds his view on life changing. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057831/tra ... 22686-14-2 The above link shows a Trailer of this movie. :) |

I can't stand that panflute... If I ordered anything that had that damn panflute on it I'd regret not downloading Dr T's Singalong instead, which is much better quality than that horrid off tempo noise.. |
