hey all


Just checkin' in to let u know what I'm doin and where I've been.

Well..... I DID move out of my parents and back to the town I used to live in (with the ex) but we stayed there for a whopping 3 weeks before deciding we were going to move to BC (LONG story... won't get into why we made that decision) Anyways... we just got here a couple days ago, and so far.... things are going well... I just met Tyler's mom today We're staying with his sister whom I met a few months ago when she came to alberta for a visit.

anyways... things are all very new..... I start my new job on Feb 1st (I'm a trainer at a women's gym... dunno if I'm gonna like that, but we'll see)

So far... me and baby are doing fine (yes.... I just spilled the beans on my being pregnant.... most of u who know me, know already anyways)

So good to hear from you.. Gotta tell you I freaked out for a split second when you said you were going to be a trainer.. Knowing that you are preggers I had terror run through me that something might have happend to the baby.. But alas it did not and all is well.

! yep... I am! Surprise! haha! Yeah I now live in the teeny weeny town right on the coast called Kitimat. It's different, but it doesn't suck! Tyler's family is so great. His sister and I are like peas in a pod, so that's really nice, cuz at least I'm not all by myself when Tyler's workin'

I'm not sure exactly how far along I am, but according to my last monthly visitor, I'm almost 3 months Just startin to see a belly



So far, so good, Steve! Tyler's sister is mothering me so much it's hillarious!! She took me out to buy all kinds of vitamins and stuff and she's CONSTANTLY askin me if I'm hungry and stuff like that! She cracks me up! She's so excited to have a baby in the family. It's been a few years for them. Sometimes I kinda forget for a sec that I'm pregnant, but it never escapes her mind!

I met Ty's two other kids yesterday, and they're here again today. Such little dolls!! Especially Summer...his daughter. Gorgeous! I may post pics sometime if I get a chance.

Thanks, Matt! It was a big and kinda scary step, but I made it and things are going well so far. I dunno what I was so afraid of. It's just change, right?

Crystal!! Ya know... last time I posted on here (updating about our bun) I said something like "Now it's Crystal's turn" heheheh

Then I felt really stupid cause I heard you were having relationship problems. Guess you have things worked out now!!

In case you didn't know (and yeah, giving a little update on ourselves here) I'm now 8 1/2 months preggo.. time is flying. We're still due Feb 26th, it's still a boy. His name is officially Jonathan Skye Wynn B. I've been trying to help my mom get ready for our shower next weekend (whew) which will probably be a few family members. Ah well, figured it's better to have it than not.

I tried to get her to  name it Gilles... but no go. I think everyone should name their kids after me!  Oh well, at least our KIDS have the same name:) (Sky, and Skye:) Lol,  we originally SPELLED sky's with an e... but when she learned to read, she said it was a useless embellishment, and purely esthetic. So, no e now:)

Crystal--- Have you given thoughts to baby names? Do you plan on finding out the sex? (At our hospital, you weren't ALLOWED to, unless you went to a private clinic, or there was some medical problem... So, i had no idea. And names, we picked out AFTER sky was born. She was nameless for a day or so:)

Aww Thanks Cindy! I've tried to message you and send you email a few times, but I guess I was never able to get through. Nah, it won't be too much trouble cause in that case I'll just call him 'Skye Wynn' (and it will get his attention too, seeing as how you never use middle names unless they're in trouble). yep. I definately have a boy's name picked out (cuz I've got that gut feeling that it's a boy) but so far, I have no girlie names picked at all.

and yes, I do intend on finding out the gender as soon as I can!! I can't keep surprises! Not even from myself!

And, I had a feeling sky would be a boy... but, nope.... If she was a boy, she was going to be Xayne Adahn (Justy's gram is named Adah) Skot (my dad's name).

Sadly, My parents thought I WAS going to be a boy. My name was supposed to be Ian. When I turned out a girl... they named me GILL-Ian.... (Gillian)... not very inventive;)


But, I never bothered begging someone to find out the gender of the kid... heck, I didn't buy ANY baby stuff until AFTER she was born. NOTHING... I meant to during my last month... but, she came a month early... which wasn't so bad... she was 5 lbs... my cousin gave birth the day before and popped out a 10 lb kid....ouch.

Justin Wade Arvid Hansen

Justin- meaning - Just, Fair

Just because I love the name... and it's a brand of cowboy boots! ! And growing up, one of my best friend's names was Justin and he was the sweetest person you'd ever meet. (sorry..... nope..... it wasn't after your hubby, Gilly! !)

Wade - meaning - Traveller

My brother's name. I didn't really know my brother growing up, cuz he was so much older than I was. (He's 41 today actually!) He moved to Ontario when I was a baby, then got married... lived there almost my whole life, but moved back when he got divorced. He was staying with my parents for a while there, while I was there as well, and we got really close. It's kind of strange to finally get to really KNOW my own brother.

Arvid - meaning - Friend

Tyler's dad's name. He past away from a freak blood clot when Tyler was 10 yrs old. He talks about him like it happened yesterday.

Hansen - Tyler's last name



As for a girl....... i have NO freaking clue.... I kinda thought I liked "Taylor" but the more I think about it, the less I like it. My Great grandmother's name was Emmalina. (pronounced Emma-Leena) As pretty as that name is, "Emma" and "Emily" are so FREAKIN popular!! I don't want a name that common, but I don't want one that's too trendy or unique either.



OK OK OK!! Now to the exciting stuff!!!


I went to the dr today and I heard the baby's heartbeat!!! AWWWW!!!! at first I was freaked out, cuz it seemed to take him forever to find it...... by "forever" of course, I mean about 8 seconds. !

Due Date is July 27th, which means I'm about 15 weeks along! "Peanut" has arms and legs and ears and actually looks like a little person now! Well..... a person who's about the size of an apple. HEE HEE!! ain't that cute?

Now I gotta go book an appointment for my first ultrasound. I can't wait! Hopefully we'll do that today or tomorrow.

Arvid.  Not a very common name, at all ...... but it too seems to be "unisex" sounding.  

Names are funny ..... yet a really IMPORTANT part of having a child.  It goes with them everywhere forever. ..... We have two girls that sing at our show named Artimas and Ryan.  I'd never heard those names used for the female gender.

So GLAD all is going well .... and that you sound so "up".
