Nowadays, most of us carry round a cell phone or two....what's your ringtone?
Mine is Monty Python's "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life"
What's yours?

Whatever's on it. It's a phone for Pete's sake. As long as it rings when someone calls, I don't care what the sound is. All ringtones are is a multi million dollar business for companies that prey on people who don't think things through. Cell companies are making billions on things we really don't need. Look at your bill sometime and ascertain what on it was really needed. I don't need internet, camera, or any other of the extraneous jusnk they put on them. Basic is expensive enough.

Well... That's a good question... When my husband calls it play's "whenever I see your smiling face" By James Taylor
When everyone else calls it plays "Golden Slumbers" by the Beatles....
I didn't pay for my ringtones. I had the music on my computer and I used a USB to download to my phone... I'm too cheap to pay for a ringtone....

I have bagpipes playing for a ringtone. It makes it easier to know that it's my phone ringing.

I'm one of the 5 people on earth who still doesn't have a cell phone...
But my husband has a cell phone. Right now his ringtone is a song that I don't recognize (I'll have to ask him what it is). It might be a generic ditty that was just written for ringtones...It is a really fast Latin-flavored song, kinda' like some of Gloria Estefan's stuff (like "Conga", or "Rhythm is Gonna Get You"--it's not either of those songs, though). It's very catchy, whatever it is!

I have a different one for my fave people, for example when my hubby calls it plays "Always & Forever". Reminds me of my high school days.

I have a Treo 650. So, I have it programmed so that if someone from my database in the phone calls, it plays Dancing Queen from ABBA. If the caller is a stranger, it plays one of the default tones. My primary choice was due to which MIDI files were available for free on the net and which one was clear and loud enough for me to hear, thus the Dancing Queen.
I also found Monty Python's "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" and uploaded it but it didn't sound too great so I am not using it. If you have a nice version of MIDI file on it, please send it to me.

Foggy Mountain Breakdown...couldn't believe I actually found that song on a ringtone with Nextel:)
I switch between that one and Devil Went Down to Georgia.
I HATE when my phone has the same ringtone as a bajillion other people. It annoys me to no end when a common ringer sounds off in a public place, and 20 people start digging for their phones.

If, and that is a BIG if, I need an extra ringtone of my handset I will load it with a 20khz pure note and put it on a vibration mode, and the louadest setting. It will drive the kids nut.
Note:
Most people above 45 will not hear that note.
