well i feel mud-slinging can be fun at times...but that's just me...when i started the CRITIQUE Thread, i clearly stated that i wasn't talking about the pro's an con's of critiquing, just what people thought about Listener x....
having said that, i'm not stupid either in knowing that the thread was going to go wherever it wanted to....yes it even made it to the showers...

big deal...how many people in talking to someone stayed to the topic? that's no fun....
fact is no one feels comfortable leaving completely honest critiques. because most on here r nice people not wanting to hurt other's feelings......
critiquing to me is just 1 that's ONE persons opinion, nothing more nothing less...even the people that r supposed to know what they're talking about r dumber than dirt sometimes....
u like what u like and it's as simple as that...
i fluff, i'll be the first to admit it, big deal....if u want me to be serious about critiquing ur song then tell me personally ok r a pm...

but again it would only be my opinion.....for what it's worth....
you say ss should be a fun place yet u also say u feel everyone should feel comfortable giving their honest opinion, those two will never work together...
if u can't sing very well and u get truly honest opinions on every song pretty soon u would leave, and yes there's always some good in what someone does, but now u r asking their honest opinion BUT don't be tooooo honest....
for that person i feel he/she shouldn't be critiqued...not yet anyway....but a little help would be nice, in a pm r whatever, and even then u better be careful...u might come off to that person as someone who thinks he/she knows it all.
nothing's easy it seems...not even in the real would so why here? kids can't even play on a swing without fighting sometimes...so why not here? and for some the fighting is fun....makes things interesting, plus no bloody noses...it all works out anyway...
i'm glad u do take ur music and singing serious but sometimes it can be taken too seriously....what's fun to u might not be fun to others,
i know for a fact that there r some on here that loveeee to start things up...mainly because they're bored, and want to see reactions, that's their fun....to each his own....ur fun might be in seeing that person kicked out of here, Steven u can run but u can't hide....
