Do you remember the first time you said something to one of your kids that your parents said to you...Like...Don't make me pull this car over...LMAO

I brought you into this world I can take you out....LOL

Holy cow...I think in one form or another no matter how hard we try we do end up being more like our parents than we ever thought we would....

Share some of yours with us....

My mom used to say to me, "Chuckie, do you ever have those times when you feel... not so fresh?"

What gets to me is when I say something and then realize I used the same expression as my parents did and I get this mental image seeing my dad in myself.  I shudder at the thought! lol I started to write a book one time titled "Things I Will Never Do or Say Again!"  The book was getting so big I gave up! lol Truthfully, and I tell my students all the time that they should go home, look at their parents. Then they should realize that they are looking at themselves 20 years from now! lol--Mike

Mike this is soo exactly what happens to me also. I will say something and stop mid-sentence and go "omg I sound exactly like my mother"

Let's go to dinner early so we can get to bed early. It's already starting and I'm only 41.
