My AVG Free edition is going to expire in a few days time. I need a good antivirus program for pc running Win 2000.

I look around for options:

1. avast
2. AOL Antivirus
3. Comdo

Which one of the above is a good one for a slow pc like mine? Or are there any out there that is better?

help..

Avast try it and you will never regret it
its free

I put the tech that built my puter onto it now he installs in everything he sells, and he was a total avg convert. He did his own tests and found AVAST superior

www.avast.com will get you there. Download the home version. You have to register for it but you dont get any spam. I have used it for 3 years. I have 4 computers on it.

Perhaps it is your OLD version of AVG FREE that is expiring (ie: won't get updates for it).  Download the NEW AVG FREE here....

Yes it is old; 1 year old as for one week from now. I love it and I would like to get it extended if I need not have to pay. I will definatly try that link.

Morgan;

I have use Avast in the past and its good, but if there is anyway that I can renew my current AVG then I will stick to AVG.

Thanks to both of you. I hope this help Chuck too.
