Still playing around with linux and even tried this linux on flash drive It works!!!

Another option is using a live cd with the OS and boot from it...

Just something to think about and experiment with A flash with your hoster on it and it wouldnt take a super computer to use it.. Another flash drive with the singer history for that venue. Another one to go on the net....  Hmmmmm.......

My concern would be the audio and video out from the device. Audio shouldn't be that bad since you can stream digital audio via USB without any problems. As for the video, even with USB-2, it would take a lot of bandwidth to get video to play smooth, etc.

Try this one Eben... Its an iso download It boots from cd It has tons of audio stuff.. Its goona take me 3 weeks ot learn the mixer tweaks etc... When it booted it found the delta 44 and a mixer popped to set it up... I had it patched right and working for a minute then lost it But even with the xmmmss player is awesome Im going into the system and listening to headphones It has all the audio tweaks you would ever want I found a ststus and with the player going the cpu is at 5%....

The rose garden is comparable to cakewalk I havnt reall tried it Itll be hard to get used to..  It also has editors like spreadsheet etc

Next Ill install it on the spareHD And reall;y fly it.....
