Looking for the best speaker stand for my 10" B-52 speakers. I'd like to get something lightweight and compact, but fairly strong. seeing as they are only 10" speakers I'd think someone would have a good idea here. I've looked for some at music stores and online but they either seem to dinky or to huge. ideas? thanks - jim |

Those are pretty lightweight cabs, most any stand should suffice, you won't need anything heavy duty or extra load capacity - any stand that holds up to 100 pounds will work. |

I use two made by "Obstage" they also have hand cranks on them. They'll hold up to about 105lbs. each. It's nice putting up and then just cranking the handle till you get them to the height you want. I believe you can find them for around $149.00 for the pair. Kelly |

Here are the stands that I have used in all of my systems over the years, they have delivered excellent performance. They cost approximately $90 each. I have taken very good care of them and transport them in the carry bag that is supplied. http://www.ultimatesupport.com/s.nl/it. ... ory=28lent |

You all have to remember his system is primarily for home use & some backyard parties. The top speakers he runs weigh about 30 pounds each. |

My speaker stands came free with the Yorkville NX55P speakers. The brand name is Samson, not my choice but the stands work nonetheless. If I were to buy a pair of stands, I would choose the OnStage SS8800B Plus Power Crank Up Speaker Stand. |

The $40 pair would work just fine. I think we got carried away with sharing what we use professionally. I see no need if they are only 30lbs each and for home use. |
