Post subject:  Ripping CD-Gs with a MAC

Anyone have experience with this? I have a Macbook Pro and was looking at using i-star or kjams. I am having trouble finding any xternal writer than will work with cd-gs. All the ones that the software manufaturers list are no longer available. Thanks.

as far as external burners Plextor drives work well with CDG

Check www.mtu.com for the actual drive numbers.

Karaoke burning software for macs is gonna be really hard to find a decent selection to make a choice from.

I haven't done that in a while and I don't have much to offer other than I tried iStar and it worked ok. I don't remember if I used the bulit in CD player or my external Yamaha that works with CD+G discs. It worked though because I have a few songs on my iStar that plays well. Sorry it's not much of info but hope it helps.
