Hello all.  Got a cheap 14" flat panal from radio shack for $103!!  pretty cool.  anyway, what is the best way to run the monitor from my laptop and be able to control stuff from the LAPTOP SCREEN, while showing the CDG graphics on my new flat panal?   I'm running it from the 15pin output from the laptop.

I found a way to do it fairly well, but it aint perfect.  Instead of experimenting for another 10 days like a dude in a hardware store who won't admit defeat, I just want some HELP!  I've gotten to the point where the CDG plays on the flat panal just fine and I am controlling KARAFUN on the laptop, but when I go to mess with anything else other than KARAFUN, the CDG graphics go away for a split second then come back.  I think the computer is confused.  I have changed the settings for the monitor to ONE BIG VIEW on both monitors using the DISPLAY properties function and set KARAFUN to show FULLSCREEN MODE on the flatpanal only using the KARAFUN controls.

Just tell me the BEST way to run both outputs at the same time!  (Laptop screen controlling KF and flat panal showing the CDG).  I'm probably making this too hard and there is one nice easy answer.

thanks - jim

Nope, not confused.

Either you are running too many programs for the computer to handle (prgms you ar running or things runnin in th background), or you computer is too slow, or needs more ram.

Check for things running in the background first, and delete any unnecessary processes.  Check for viruses or spyware, and rember a gig computer should NEVER EVER go on the internet.

If that don't help, post back with your system specs.

It's already too late for me.  I had my gig computer on the internet to get the software I needed to run the show.  How would you recommend one install that software?  I guess they are available on disc at a higher price?
