What is a typical setup for recording singers. I run my show from a PC, it has a CD/DVD burner on it. Is anyone out there recording singers now? What equipment/software are you using? Thanks.

Most hosting software has that feature. Just run a line back from the mixer to the line-in on your sound card. I use Sacks-O-Nuts for that but that's off the market. Check the feature list of AutOKdj, it's freeware.

I use autokdj as my karaoke hosting software. Are you saying there is a recording feature? I haven't seen one. Thanks.

No, not that I know of for sure. Like I said, check the feature list. It may or may not have it. Failing that, try Roxox.

Autokdj uses shoutcast to record songs if I read their forum info right.
