I'm thinking of getting a wireless mouse for my lap top...its so touchy using the one on board it comes with..Have you guys had good experiences with these?

Mine works fine too.  My brand at least goes through batteries fairly often so I'd recommend a Duracel or Eveready.

If you use one at gigs always have spare batteries or a usb mouse you can plug in Ive had them get sluggish and is a combination of weak batts and really taxing the resources (I think) But if you have those troubles just revert back.

I actually dropped one into an ice cooler at an outside gig Found it the next morning Let it dry out a few days and have been using it since. I have an inexpensive adapter on my laptop for wireless mouse and keyboard In fact right now I am using a 17" monitor from the dual vga and using it for the primary monitor... The laptop is by a window on another desk accessing a Wifi hotspot.. So there are many combos now.....

Another scenario is I have another box cat5 cosswired to to the laptop and have been learnig Linux on it.. I just figured out how to file share and printer share between windows and Linux but to my chagrin I cant find a linux driver for a Brother 2040 laser monochrome printer..  Its fun when ur snowed in drinkin beer and doing things LMAO

I switched both of my desk tops to wireless keyboards and mouses.   Never had a problem.

Get the laser mouse.

I have the microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse for my Shuttle PC system and a Logi-Tech USB wireless mouse for my and a USB numeric keypad for my Laptop system.

No problems...just carry extra batteries for your gigs.
