The Godfather of Soul passed away this morning at around 1:43, cause of death has not yet been determined. He was 73.

St. Peter was quoted as saying; "We knew this day was coming, we've been trying to assemble a brass section together for his arrival. His final destination has not yet been decided, but we figured we'd have a helluva Christmas day party while he was here.
Special guest were to include Jimi Hendrix on guitar, Rick James on Bass, with John Bonham on drums, Joplin and Morrison are on backup vocals. Ohhhh, that's sad.  I think I read yesterday he was in the hospital with pneumonia.
