Hello Ollie !
Hope you are doing well. I've been keeping myself very busy. Remodeling my whole condo (Included studio area).. Fortuneately I didn't break anything. Strangest thing however. My Onkyo DVD player now pauses.. just stalls (during such periods the counter doesn't even progress). Are those belt drive ? I'm wondering if a belt is slipping ? can't figure out what a DVD player would stop and go like this ??
We need an Off topic tech forum too . Non-karaoke related technical areas of electronics for AV electronics buffs.. You know, the good stuff like Anscovision 8mm reel to reel movie projectors, and bakelite 45 players.

The funny thing about this new forum heading is I find myself getting dizzy jumping back and forth from the discussion room to here. LMAO We all know I am dizzy enough.

I suppose this "is" the discussion room. That "other place" is for people with less diverse interests. You know, Folks that for some strange reason want to talk about Karaoke.... BWAHAHAHAHA ! Can you imagine a place to just talk about Karaoke <SPEW> Now I'm laughing so hard, I think I wet myself !

Hey FLIPPER ! LTNS !!
Hope things are as pretty up in Portland as they FINALLY are here in the eastern half of the country. Air is finally cold, brisk, Visibility at night is clear (you can even see the moon sometimes), and the air is actually breathable. Well sort've. It's a pretty time of year around here.. Air quality otherwise is so poor, it's no longer a decent area to live in (Central CT)... You folks are in a GORGEOUS area of the country and world IMO... Cascade area...

AFAIC Chuck, Lonnie always was a moderator :)
What was there to disagree with him about anyway ? When he spoke, he had something legit and reasonable to say. Now that this room exists, even folks such as myself MIGHT come up with a point or two of interest..

We have had tons of rain over the past couple of months....plenty of flooding in the south central valley, and on the Oregon Coast.
Sunny and Clear yesterday but kinda overcast today. Current temp 43 and has been getting into the low 30's and sometimes into the high 20's in the mornings. Snowed once and some ice but only in higher elevations.
Air quality is pretty decent due to so much rain. Although we don't have many problems with air quality here anyway.

We discussed sending you messages to let you know but I guess we just decided we didnt want to look like we were missing you too desperately.

Quote: hey you are almost due for your second star Please, tell me something I DON'T know ! Started clothes shopping, and star prep class in July. Only missed one class ! If this is anything like last years event, people across the world will be up watching this monumental event ! Quote: We discussed sending you messages to let you know but I guess we just decided we didnt want to look like we were missing you too desperately. Well, The holidays are a reflective time of the year after-all. I was just sitting around thinking about the most accomplished, and best times of my life.. Then it hit me ! Maybe KS IS still around ! Quote: We didn't want to appear too needy
Oh, don't give it a second thought Chuck ! I'm not judgmental, some of you folks were always so needy that in comparison to the rest of us with special needs, you at best could appear only a tad more needy. Nothing obsessive of course.
