Hi,
I am a newbie to this site. Not a Newbie to Karaoke! I first did my first Karaoke song in Kurizawa Japan back in 1986. My first song that I sang back in the states was "Put Your Sweet Lips A Little Closer To The Phone".

My Wife and I sing mostly country. Many times as a duet.

Welcome! The tune is "He'll Have to Go" I do that one a lot (my wife likes it). This is a great forum with great people. Enjoy!

Hi,
I'm a newbie too. I live in Japan now and I think I've become karaoke-obsessed :-)

I'm asking for a karaoke player for Christmas (for when I get back to the US in the summer) lol

. Just wanted to say hello!

And karaoke in Japan is a lot of fun - never really have a KJ, except at a LARGE party. Karaoke boxes, or private rooms, can fit anywhere from 1 (yes they have single rooms) to probably 30 people...
Lots of fun! I'm not such a good singer, so (sorry KJs) I can't wait until there are more of those in the States - we do have them in NY but not many and they're not popular...
