Cool, I'll PM ya my christmas list then.  :dancin:

I have been a VERY good girl, I promise, so my list is quite extensive. So, while I compile it and put into pdf format for ya, here's a few things you can start with. (careful of electronics on Ebay though.... but I'm sure you know that)  :D

*Digital Camcorder (i prefer Sony or RCA)

*DVD Burner (i'm a bit picky here, the one i want is a Plextor DVD Burner/CD/CDRW Burner... i'll find ya the link for that one, so you get it right)

*One of those electronic book thingees (Keith found a link online, they DO have them now, and Charmin's gotta have one)

*Uh, umm, THIS one might break your pocketbook a bit. Lemme know if I'm overdoing it in any way.... a Gibson F5 mandolin. (no NEW model, one of the old vintage ones... MUST be an F5 though... like Bill Monroe had)

*Oh, heck, I'll need a new guitar to back up that mandolin properly. A Gibson will do. 1960'ish... but a small body. I prefer cutaway models. Ah heck, I just found a perfect one actually:

GUITAR

But ya better hurry, that auction ends today:)

Yep, I've already made some purchases at the huge craft show we have at the fairgrounds twice a year and I've been going through a catalog today, I've got more pages bookmarked then I have pennies!

Typically I hate to shop but I love to shop for children and fortunately with nieces, a nephew and grandsons I get to shop for both genders and quite a range of ages!

Susie :)

LMAO Charmin so funny.  One of each on the way. Impressive list by the way. I'm sorry I'm full out of a hot guy in biker pants for your stocking  LMAO

Have you heard about these people standing in line for days to get the new play station. Then selling them on Ebay for 100s of dollars more. They run for about 6 to
$700. The cheapest one I found on Ebay was $2500. No I don't want one. Way over my budget.

I too love shopping for toys. Top on the list this year is the Girl Crush Airbrush Tattoo Maker and Nails shop.  :dancin:

Hey Yeah a couple of weeks ago I bought my younger daughter the Playstation 2 games & accessories of Karaoke Revolution off ebay I even got the rare & discontinued original # 1. I got 1,2 & 3 I'll get the country one for her Bday in March. Got a really good deal on them. She also wants a nintendo DS Lite?? I'm hoping the day after Thanksgiving sales around here will pan out for that.Them things are expensive !!

My older daughter wants clothes sooo shes gettin $ for that !! Oh & she wants to get the works done to her hair, cut, color, style, all that jazz :) So shes gettin $ for that LOL

I think its kool the older they get the bigger (more expensive though) presents they want which means sooo much less shopping LOL Which I literally have to drag hubby along to do LOL

Im not wanting too much of anything this year...believe it or not all I really need is a vacumn cleaner !! haha...

When do you guys put up the tree ?? We JUST cleaned out our garage last month & finally put last years Christmas decorations in the attic now we gotta take them back down the day after Thanksgiving LOL Shoulda just left them in the garage haha...

Well, the Christmas shopping has begun here too.  Got everything for the grandson already.  Only getting stocking stuffers for the daughter and her 'boy toy' as we are subsidizing their living expenses already.  Their newest son is due any day so he'll probably be getting onesies (sp?) and footies for Christmas.

Just got started on buying for my son and his wife.  Their coming up from San Antone for the week prior to Christmas.  Dang! That's only a month away!  Alright, somebody pass me the 'time remote' I need to hit pause! Quick!

I suppose that's still better than the people that go to certain stores during the brief "6 hour sales" on days such as "Black Friday", freakout while standing in line, and start stealing items out've elderly peoples carts, trampling others as they run out with their "Coleco Cabbage Patch limited edition doll" or something similar.  Some people just don't have impulse control.  They need to be behind bars in a zoo

I'm looking at Christmas gifts for myself..  Starting to look into 60 inch wall-mounted flatscreen TV's to finish off my studio.  Remember, The gift of giving to yourself is a wonderful thing !

Santa had to have total hip relacement Sept. 24th.   Doc says he can't have anybody on his lap this year.  That guy's getting old !   You weren't here when I posted about his cataract problems, and the collision he got into in Boca Raton Florida with a small craft pilot.  He's since had his international flying license revoked.  I hate to be the bearer of such news, but soon there might be no such thing as Santa !

I saw Santa on A&E a few months back.  I took notes.  If people are interested I can post what's going on in his life.  I posted a rough idea last year, but didn't want folks to quote me on things, because I couldn't say with any certainty whether my details regarding Santa were fact or fictitious.

Regarding a less serious note.  How does a person know when it pays to "Wait til after the holidays for prices to drop", and when retailers will be reducing merch. prior to the holidays to stay in the black for the year during tougher times ?  I try to be a frugal shopper (actually I'm a cheap S&*^ but we won't go there). Sometimes it doesn't pay to wait til after the holidays to buy items that aren't "gift items". I dunno,  stuff doesn't always drop in price after Christmas anymore.. or so it seems.

Can't wait too long for certain items.  I'm still awaiting Robert Hall's clothing chain to reduce a few of their mens items.

I find that you can buy things cheaper during the holiday season. I made the mistake one year of thinking I could buy things discounted after xmas. Not always true.
Anytime somethiing comes out for the first time like the psp 3, it will be more expensive.  After the technology becomes wide spread it drops in price.

I think now is the time to buy. It is before items run out of stock and are possibly on sale for xmas. It is the competition to get you to buy from them for xmas instead of someone else. After xmas most people have done the bulk of their buying. Not to mention they are broke.  LMAO
