Hi, I'm sorry to bother you guys, but I can't seem to find the threads I need to answer my question.

I'm looking for a portable system that uses CDs and provides a point value when the singer is finished.  My family is made up of enthusiastic tin ears with a competitive spirit  :dancin: .  We love to sing, but have no talent for it.  I've used Leadsinger, but the music quality since it's midi is something I want to stay away from.   But I loved how the singers were given tabulated points at the end of the song.

Is there anything out there under $300?  An attached camera and recording ability isn't desired.  I am looking for a system that can be easily attached from one TV to another with a better music quality than midi.

Thanks so much for any help you can give me!

RSQ E500 with 3000 NeoG songs are on ebay.  Not sure why you want the scoring feature.  I find that it is not really accurate.  The loud singers, who are not necessarily good, end up with high scores.  Also, the beat is not correct but the scoring feature requires that you keep up with it.

The scoring features are essentially a key analyzer.  It senses the avg key of the music & then your voice & compares them.  You do not even have to accurately sing the song, hum it in key & you're in.
