Well all, I finally have all the initial components of my home system (basement room, 15'x35') for the wife and I.
Powerpod 740D 400W powered mixer w/digital effects
2 SEM715s
1 UM99 corded mic
CAVS 203 (no USB) w/corded mic
Chartbusters Essentials E1-6
800 additional songs on Sound Choice
Song Books (2xTitle, 2xArtist) created in Access on my self made database
All for $1,036 (not counting the $ for the SC discs that I already owned) plus $250 in shipping.

Can't even turn the main volume up past 2! :oh yeah: We're having fun now!  I plan on adding UHF mics, and a powered sub next year.  Oh, one other thing, I hope to order a Gemini USB recorder, so I can start subbing, next week.

Wheeeee

Dave!! Don't buy the Gemini USB recorder!!
That's excactly what I've been using, and it just went kaput on me in less than a year!! I paid $150 +tax for that thing!! :grumble:

Now, I have my karaoke machine plugged into the line-in on my pc, recording to a (free) software as .wav files, then converting to .mp3.

I wish I would've done that at first.....I could've saved some money. :(

And also, the Gemini creates alot of noise in the initial recording that has to be editted out.

I'll tell ya, it was frustrating to start trying to sing a song, thinking the Gemini was recording, then look down to see that it locked up in mid-song!! :banghead:  LMAO
