have just converted over last week end to using a laptop for my karaoke shows
have had it upgraded but the sound was not realy loud enough coming out of the lap top all my levels were at their peak any suggestions

If it's the cheapest laptop you could buy, I would say the sound card sucks. Are you using a mixing board or are you just going right out of the computer to the amplifier? Good sound isn't that easy to achieve. It takes some work and some money.

thats what i was thinking it might be the sound card i do go straight from the lap top to the mixer it was the first time the other night prior to the that i was using a pc which i also had trouble with as i could only get it to play properly if i was in mono not stereo thanks anyway
