I had a patron bring in a burnt disc that he just made from purchasing downloads from the Cavs website. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. They have songs made by Cavs and Panorama. I did find out Panorama is just another name for the makers of top hits monthly. They come up on the screen with the THM logo. Now the one song that was Cavs sounded fine, but I didn't care for how they do their graphics. They had a white screen with blue boxed white letters. BTW- I did check the Cavs website and their song selection wasn't very vast, but it may be a nice alternative to buying discs. ($1.99 a song) |

I thought we answered this for you a while back?? Panorama isn't another name for THM, they are the record company that produces THM. |

I got 5 SCG discs with the cavs machine I bought and 2 dont work in the higher numbers and its a pain in the arse. I would dearly love to try and rip the discs and start again anyone have suggestions how to do this? they are brand new discs but for some reason the songs above 800 wont play. I know cavs encodes somehow so it wont be easy to rip and reburn but I have to try something |

We did figured out that Panorama was the same company as THM in the tech room, on the Cavs song download site. :D I thought since I had someone bring in a disc that actually did download from them I would give my 2 cents on the quality and inform people about the legal affordable downloads as an option. A lot of people still pirate and I'm hoping if they can find affordable options they'll go legit instead. Plus a lot of people who hang out in the discussion room don't always catch the news in the tech forum. I would still be leary of downloading the Cavs versions, not the Panorama versions, of songs from them. Sorry if this is old news. |

I personally have never tried to copy or burn a SCDG. I found this link that might help. http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/boards/ubb/Forum1/HTML/003916.html As far as the problem of not being able to use any songs over 800. If you are using a Cavs player that is compatible I can't understand why they wouldn't work. Did you check the settings on your machine? If you've done that I would try googling your question or contacting Cavs. Don't use there User website. It bites! |
