Just thought I'd "properly" introduce myself. I've been quietly browsing the forums and listening to subs for several months now and am starting to feel a little naughty about it
I'm kind of a cautious person so I wanted to get a sense of your little community here before making myself known. Everyone seems so genuinely supportive of each other.
A little about me: I'm a married mother of two boys. I was introduced to karaoke through a friend about a year ago and now I'm hooked. Like eveyone here, I've always loved to sing, although I haven't had any formal training. I just open my mouth and hope that something in tune comes out. I notice a lot of you have had some sort of lessons, and it shows. There is some tremendous talent here and from reading and listening, I feel I've picked up some great tips. One day I hope to work up enough nerve to submit a song. I'm still a little shy about singing at karaoke bars. I'd rather be in a more intimate karaoke party setting with friends.
