Ok, I have been extremely busy last few weeks and will be for next few years I hope. I have gotten myself in to yet another start up company. Those of you who are not familiar with the Silicon Valley life style, start up company is a rite of passage for many people here. My partner and I have been working hard to come up with a product/service concept and present it in a such way we can get funding to start off the company. This means countless hours of strategizing, writing presentations, research, presenting, getting rejected, redoing presentation, presenting again, rejection, etc. until we get someone to say we like your idea. Hopefully they will give us enough money to survive for a year until we can develop the product and we have to do it all over again for next round of funding.

This is exciting times because we are creating something. However, once we get the funding, it's going to be grinding work for next 1-2 years with long hours and 7 days a week. Will it be worth it? I am hoping so. I have done this a couple of times before and one was a semi-success but I wasn't able to cash out and other was a bust. Only 1 out of 10 will success and only 1 out of 10,000 will be another Google or Yahoo.

I hope to lurk in here once in a while but it may be limited. I may have to give up my side business of hosting Karaoke for a while too. I will keep you updated if I can.

off this time. Maybe in the future we'll be asking for your autograph. :oh yeah:
If in the next 2 years you need inspiration make sure you stop in KS,
so we can try and give you a boost.  :hug:

Thanks for the encouraging words. We sent out our exec summary to this forum where if we are picked, we get to go in front of a bunch of VCs and get picked on. If they like the idea, they may fund us. If not, we get some good feedback. I am crossing my fingers.
