I just heard a Monkees song subbed by Krush'd_Ice over on SS which brought back some fun memories.  What's a good Monkees collection disc to get?

I don't know if there is a collection disk out there, but I saw a legends brand with 8 monkee songs, and 8 tommy james and the shondells for 14.60, (I think )at doowopdotcom(that's delivered)...at karaokedotcom....9.99 a piece if you buy 2...plus delivery

Do you mean karaoke or just a regular CD? I bought a 'best of' (CD) some time back but I can't find it, so I couldn't tell ya what it's called. It's got all the old hits and a couple of newer ones. It's great for nastalgia.. I loved the Monkees when I was a kid. I just checked out the song you mentioned. Funny, 'Take A Giant Step' is probably my favorite Monkee song yet it is not well known. I'm surprised there was a backing for it. I had a friend make that same song backing for me awhile back and recorded it myself.  :D I see Joyce requested it, that figures! She and I must have the same record collection.  :dancin: She is always recording or requesting offbeat songs that I love.
