Before I left for my gig last night, there was a program on about the lastest school shootings.   Listening to the accounts of the police, describing the horrible crime scenes, I cried for the innocent little victims and their families. :O  :(

You know, I watched some of that on TV the other day......

Those people, have the attitude that they should not hold grudges, but be willing to forgive the assailant.

I wish I had the capacity to do that, but I do not. Not when it comes to my children, I would have been on a rampage.

But yes, a very tragic and sad story, one that we hear too often nowadays.

We have an ill society....The rest of the world is quickly losing respect for us and rejecting our views of democracy.....They look at us and decide they don't want our social problems........They see us as a country full of child molesters, homosexuals, crooked public leaders, child killers, drug abusers..............

I kinda see it as the Fall Of Rome all over again...

Oh, well....I try to remain positive and stay out of the battles and keep hope that folks will wake up and get things back on track without resorting to civil unrest and all that goes with it.

I have traveled all over this world and met many decent people who had religions and politics different than mine.....I learned to respect them and not force my beliefs on them....I also learned to embrace their lifestyles and accept that they had their way of doing business and that it worked for them....I was a visitor in their world...........They made me feel welcome there.

The world is a wonderful place that contains lots of special people. I know deep in my heart that we here have no business trying to tell them how to conduct their business....We need to learn to be a good neighbor, to not force our beliefs on the rest of the world.

I enjoy my friends from all over the world. I respect their laws, their beliefs and their religions. They make me a bigger person-a better person.
