Has anyone here ever had to get a replacement windscreen for a cordless headset microphone? Every KJ and band member I know who has headsets, have never had this problem.  The music stores around here don't carry small wind screens, and I'm not having any luck with on-line stores either. At present, I'm waiting for a reply from Shure, but I was wondering if any of you have any tips for where else I may look.  I'll tell you now, if I ever find any, I'm stocking up!! LOL

Also, if you have any temp tricks until I get one, that would be appreciated too.

over here there were cheap puter headsets that had the soft foam mini sock things
why not buy one of those and grab the cover off that?

hope it works for you...come to think of it before I got carried away and plugged my mixer etc into my puter I used to record using just a cheap headset and in a lot of ways the sound was better. My only prob was I found I would back off something I should be strong on becos of the proximity of the mic
Best recording my husband and I ever did was using the same headset and laying down on sep tracks its on our website www.nostringsattached.co.nz errr duh the stoopid witch the song is baby its cold outside
