					| Okay, I'm sitting here, having my usual breakfast of coffee and cigarettes, and suddenly an idea comes to mind, and I think you folks are exactly the ones that can help me out.
Christmas will be here soon, and there's always that one person that you never know what to get. My brother bought his first Harley this year, and makes it a point that whenever he goes to any Harley shop that he gets what they call a dip dot. A dip dot, is a small medallion looking thing(about the size of a quarter) that goes on top of your oil cap cover. It has the location of the store on it, and Harley gives them away for free. What I thought would be very cool is if each of you that have a Harley shop close by could pick up one of these items and mail it to me, I could give my brother that as a Christmas present. I mean we have folks all across the states here at this site, all the way from Alaska, to Florida, Alabama, Calif, I mean everywhere. We even have quite a few folks from Canada which would be very cool. Now it may sound a bit silly to some of you, but I think he would get a huge kick out of it, and remember it's not the cost of the gift that counts, but the thought that went into it. So lemme know if it's something you could help me out with. I would make it a point to also put on a card each person that sent one, that way although it's coming from me, he'll know that it took the efforts of a lot of friends to make happen.
 Thanks,

 James

					| Hey James--you got it.  I'm right here in Wisconsin and fortunate enough to have been able to take my 83 FXRT to all the anniversary parties and still make it home in time to catch the evening news coverage!
Count on a Milwaukee dot for your gift!  Where should we send them?

					| I don't get to Mobile much, but if I go there, I'll hit the Harley-Shop (I've been meaning to get in there anyway, I just hate driving in Mobile)
Anyway, if interested, check with e-bay... they have some there.

					| Wow, you folks are great, my brother is going to love this.
I'll send each of you my mailing address tomorrow. I'm just got home and I can barely keep my eyes open at the moment. If you read my comments on my other post, I think you'll understand.
 Thank you again, so much.

					| Our Harley shop wont be open until Tuesday This will be from Greeley Co Also will try to get one From Wy or Sturgiss
 Side Note'''
I think it is awesome what the bikers are doing regarding protecting those from burying putting to rest their sons and daughters that scrificed their all for all Americans  Also the teen killed in Bailey Co was well represented by 100's of bikers that showed up at her memorial.. Its the least I can do to provide one of those emblems...

					| Just got an pm from Chuck2. He and karyoker brought up something I forgot to mention. Most of your corporate Harley shops are closed on Mondays. Monday is the best day for them to close since the majority of their business picks up as the weekend gets closer. Another thing, since this is for Christmas, please don't think that I'm asking folks to send them immediately. This is a 'if you happen to be by a shop' type thing.
As it gets closer to Christmas of course we'll have our usual mail slow down, but for now, please take your time. Again, thanks so much for the response on this, my brother will be so surprised. This is one of those kinds of gifts that you really can't put a price tag on. Normally I would be leaving out with him to go to Biketoberfest in Daytona this coming friday, but due to my show schedule, time doesn't permit me to attend this year. This will be the first year that I have missed in quite some time. But we're already making plans for next year, hopefully by that time, the business should be more secure and allow me to take some time off.
 Thanks again,
 James
