Is anyone else having probs with this site today? (specifically the showcase?)
I can't reply to most of my comments... I've tried logging off and back on, I've restarted my computer, I've changed my profile a bit, I've edited the song descriptions..... all those things that normally work... are NOT working.
I hate when this happens. :crying2:
I have also had trouble getting songs to play, it tries refreshing the page, rather than popping up the player.... then the page freezes, and I have to go out & log back in. This thread... has been started three times now. :madgo:
Each time I try to pull up the "view more emoticons" it freezes.
The only thing here that seems to be working for me, is letting me flirt (oops, "chat".... I meant "chat") in PM's. LOL
Seriously though. Is it this site today, or is it my computer again? (please, please don't say it's just my computer again.......) I can't tolerate any more computer issues. I guess what I'm saying is, I'm hoping all of YOU have had troubles today with the site also. (gee... aren't I sweet?)

You probably got a mouse chawin on your phone line... Ping or trace ks and see how long it takes.......Then try another site....

Day-um it!!!!!!!
If it's my comp again, I'm hanging up my hat. I'll simply beat it and go back to a friggen' CB radio for my entertainment.
So, if I disappear..... Listen for me on Channel 1 when the skip comes in..... my handle is "BackTalker". LOL

Charmin, you could try tightening the wire between the tin can in your computer and the wall. It might be able to pick the internet better that way.
Llok out the window and see if the wires on the line are good and tight too. If they aren't that could cause your packet loss.

Look on the floor near your computer and see if any data pieces fell out of the tin can too. They might be stackin' up behind your computer.

I had several episodes yesterday where I could not log onto the site...I had a submission a few days ago that had something like 79 views on it so I know there is something going on with trying to download people's songs (of course I'd like to think people love me so much they are playing the thing over and over--sure!) And I've had difficulties with some of the things you are mentioning Charmin...not terribly much but ocassionally.

have you cleared out your temp files? done a scan for adware? both could prevent you from logging in, I had same prob a few days ago but it was my modem needing a reboot
