Big Dog is one of the reasons I came out of the closet to start posting.

He's a little rough around the edges but seems to have a sense of humor so I decided to start this poll.

Let's see if I can figure this whole pole thing out.




It left off the last choice.


The last choice was (cracked or broken record) I just want him to state his opinion and move on.

There's nothing to vote for as he doesn't exist.  He's only words on a computer screen that no one can prove he is who he says he is.

Me too!  It's ok to try & get your point across, but to repeat yourself to ad nausea & keep starting new subjects on basically the same topics already being discussed & putting in little blurbs to other topics not even relative to anything gets annoying.

I too would have voted for cracked record if it had been there.  Say it once, support position, open to dialogue, move on.

I agree - broken record. You state your opinion and move on unless
you have something new to add. Trying to change peoples minds by
repeating yourself irritates people. We can all agree to disagree and be civil.
I don't expect everyone to agree with my opinions and don't think I am less of a karaoke host if someone disagrees with me. It just means they do what works for them.  :dancin:

I have to agree with Bigdog.    100% of the time.     He has more experience than most.    In years and in the number of shows performed.     He has had three systems running until he costly divorce, in which he lost half of his business.    It was not from lack of work.     There is still plenty and if there were more of me, I would have more scheduled jobs.


I don't know how long you have been reading from afar, but you should only take advice from people that are where you want to be.    3/4 of the posters on here, will never be.     I can tell by the information and answers they provide and their  equipment and mentality toward their karaoke business.   You can sort them out for yourself.  :shock:  :O

If you keep throwing stuff on the wall sooner or later some sticks.      People only absorb information when they are ready to receive.    And if you already think you have it all, you will have a closed mind and no karaoke business to speak of.     You'll be working for food and still playing dance music.

My money is always on Bigdog.    When you are ready to receive, PM me with your questions.

If it works keep doing it.   But if you do not realize you are causing irreparable long term damage.......a broken record won't help.     Everyone learns from having things repeated.    Many times people hear things but they really don't.   And they won't until they either have that experience happen to them or they see it somewhere else.  :hug:

I don't hate anyone on here.     I may have a little twinge whenever I see certain names or pictures, but I can honestly say I don't hate anyone here.     99.9% of the time I find the whole thing very amusing.

Just keeping it Pure.

In order to see the Big Dog's softer side, you have to take him to The Big Rock Candy Mountain.....he cry's there, but liitle old dogs like myself get to laugh... .........I've posted this before, doea anyone have the slightest idea what I'm talking about? ....but seriously, The Dog is just like everyone else here, sometimes we just need to get something off our chest, it doesn't matter if you agree or not.....just lend an ear if you wish, if not, no problema

Johnny Echo, I feel the same way you mentioned above. I also get tired of hearing the same thing over and over. After a while you just tune it out. I have actually been reading everypost lately except Bigdog. If I were to cut and paste everythings he's said lately into a program that eliminates duplicate words the result would only amount to about one hundred words period.

Give it a rest Bigdog. You have been heard.

Maybe most of the people here WANT to be kj/dj's that's why they all offer as much advice about it as they can about making it successful for them.



Information that you wouldn't use, but others might & make it work for them.



Or you knock a hole in the wall.



People also know when to quit trying to cram their own beliefs down ones throat, because what works for some may not work for others.



I bet on a 'big dog' in a dalmation race a few years back, he came in dead last!  Luckily I didn't put a whole lot of faith into him.....oh wait!  Hmmmm.



I'm sure there were people who thought as you about disco too!  They are still dressing in their polyestor leisure suits with the big collars & medallions around their neck telling people that all this rock & karaoke is killing the disco business & they will remain disco until the day they die!  They all look like this guy spinning their Donna Summers
