Install internal pole mount sockets!..... All you need is a saber saw or a drill with correct size hole saw and the sockets.
First remove lower speaker so you don't drill into any wires or anything, then cut hole, pop in pole mount and you are done.
Many places sale speaker pole socket mounts. If you have trouble locating them, just contact Peavey support and they will ship them cheap and fast......All socket mounts are standard 1 3/8" hole size.
Now, let's be professional so your speakers don't look dumb and stand crooked.....Here is how to do that:
Turn speaker upside down and find centerline of cabinet from side to side.......Place piece of tape along that centerline that spans from front to back of speaker bottom.....You are going to place a mark on the tape somewhere.....That mark will be the center of the hole for the socket....Now find where that mark needs to be....To do that turn speaker back upright and get ready to do a balancing act with the speaker.
With tape line on speaker bottom and speaker upright, place a round marble or something similar under the speaker kinda near the center of the bottom of the speaker........hold the speaker loosely and see how it balances on the marble.....If it wants to lean over in front, then place the marble farther toward the front along the tape line....Keep fiddling with it till the speaker seems well balanced on the marble......THAT is the balance point and THAT is where the socket hole needs to be drilled....Drill small pilot hole there and look inside to see if the socket will then clear the speaker cage once it is installed....If so, then cut socket hole and install socket and speaker and you will have two nice looking speakers that stand perfectly straight on your poles.

were killed tonight in a horrible accident, when a 200 lb speaker came crashing down from it's perch. Earlier, 3 gorillas suffered hernias while hoisting the speaker to the top of the pole. Dispite warnings from Bigdog to the contrary.
