I may be going to Anaheim,CA. Anyone know of any good shows there?? I looked at the directory and there are a few listed. I owuld like to get some personal refferals instead of going in blind. Thanks!! |

wave Hi Isis: I really like the Fox Fire Restaurant in Anaheim Hills. There is an intimate feel about the place, the crowd is friendly and it is located in a very good neighborhood. They also have a dance floor to the side for people to dance if they are inclined to do so. Karaoke is Monday and Tuesday nights starting at 9 PM. I have not found a place that I would recommend during the weekend. I'm hoping other people will answer your post so I can check out their recommendations. The places you need to go are either the STARTING GATE in Los Alimitos or MR. B's on Katella Ave---both where KS's "THATS KARAOKE" host and radio personality Manny Pachecho hosts Karaoke!! Story I did with interview of Manny at his show at Mr. B's when I was last down there in 2003: http://www.positivelyentertainment.com/ ... ernet.html So anyway thats where you need to go when in Anaheim and tell Manny the SWINGCAT SENT YA!! |

Right next to Anaheim is Long beach where the have some great shows at Tracys on Mon and Thurs. Big stage ,lights, killer sound system, pure karaoke. Same with Benchwarmers in Lakewood located next door to Long Beach on wed.s and fridays. |

Theres also a several down in Newport beach---nice place to go--theres a really nice restaruant located on the end of the Newport beach pier at over the water--great for a romantic seafood dinner and the over to a karaoke bar. What you need to do is get a copy of Karaoke Scene Magazine--as it has area maps that show where all the venues are along with times and dates--and lots of advertisements of the shows. Guess youll just have to SUBSCRIBE to the magazine now huh?????  LMAO LMAO
Certainley if you want to get a copy of the upcoming issue featuring Karaoke at the Canby Oregon County fair with A PIC OF CHARMIN SINGING ONSTAGE!!! |
