Hi all , Just a little note to let you know that I made it through the surgery to remove my little toe. I just got discharged tonight. Stayed 6 days & man am I glad to be home !!  I dont have as much pain as I thought I would have so thats a good thing :) I only had 2 pain pills today (yeah !!)  And the Dr says its looking good.

Thanks to all of you who wished me well & said a prayer I appreciate it bunches :)  :hug:

Good to see you Kelly. Make sure with the cold weather approaching your feet stay nice and warm, they say there is no pain quite like the phantom limb pain some get with amputations

Glad you are back and are feeling okay....don't worry about that baby toe: One of mine fell off somewhere (probably came off with the sock one night) along the line and didn't realize it until I went to buy new shoes...you'll be fine!  I think it happened because I mistakenly used Preparation H on it when I thought it was Dr. Scholl's foot balm. I'm glad you are doing so well.  :hug:

I had a friend who lost his toe to an accident, we used to call it
his "no toe". Once in awhile he would tell us his "no toe" was itching.
It is so odd how when you lose a body part sometimes you still feel it.

Good advise, I have been told about this so I'll keep it in mind :)

You're pretty doggone kool yourself ! The Dr says stay off my feet as much as possible & I told him the computer is in the office away from the couch so dunno how much I'll be off my feet when it comes to KS withdrawls LOL  ! I feel like Im gonna miss somthin while Im gone Haha ! I know I know thats what ya call addicted !!  HAha ! Oh well there are worse things to be addicted to right?    :)

I'm sure there are worse things to be addicted to. My adiction to KS was very bad. I am on the step and stuck here, where I am trying to accept the fact that I have no control over KS.

C'mon Kelley!  Get Creative! :headscratch: Have someone help you rearrange the office so you can prop your legs up!  That's what I did some years back after major knee surgery.  Doc let me go back to a desk job after only a week from the date of surgery (course I couldn't get rid of the crutches for another 5 weeks and the cane took another 2....oh well).  Do that and none of us will have to miss your charm! :oh yeah:
