 Can anyone tell me how I can convert MP3-G zip files to regular CD-G's. I have close to 400 songs on my computer I would love to play on my Karaoke player.

Thanks in advance

you need to convert the mp3+gs to .bin files, and then burn them to a disc.

Your burner needs to be able to read the code correctly. Obviously if you have them on your harddrive, you've downloaded them.

Converter - mp3toolz. do a google search for that.

cdrwin is one of a few burning programs that works. Powerkaraoke has one too that supposedly works with most burners... I have no knowledge on that, but in my experience, plextor, pioneer and yamaha burners (older pioneer and yamaha ones) were about the only thing that worked. Check out the makers of CDRWIN at http://www.goldenhawk.com and they have an everupdating file that lists the burners that work!

If that doesnt work Larry, power cd+g burner recognizes practically any cd burner to write cd+gs.

Have you noticed any clitches on the discs, that aren't in the file?

to change the mp3+gs to a .bin file, you should have them UNZIPPED. (at least the older version I have I do that... I don't use the .net version) Then once mp3toolz is installed, you just rightclick the folder you ahve the files in, and "convert mp3+g to .bin"

Hey guys;

 I figured out how to burn the MP3-G's with power cd-g burner. I can burn the MP3-g's and rip and burn regular CD-G's. Now I can burn special Cd-g's with my favorite numbers on it to take to clubs. The KJ just pops my disc in and plays the number I request, or he can surprize me. Now is all I have to do is register my temp. version so I can use the complete program. Hopefully I can afford it soon.

Thanks everyone

   Larry

I can't get past the cue sheet.  Why is that so hard to do?

It is really not necessary to use a cue sheet.  Just chose burn a disc, and the tracks in, and burn away. I feel the cue sheet just complicates the process, for burning karaoke discs...But if you are insistant on using a cue sheeet....
