Ive had 3 or 4 mobos in this 2 unit rack case. It has been cut to a a 17" length... comp pic This is an ECS P4M800-M7 mobo with a Pent 4 Prescott 3.6G 1 MB cache and 800 fsb The fan on this one was so big I had to cut a hole in the lid to vent. With standard karaoke software and recording such as Sonar going it idles.....It has 2 power supplys the second one provides 5, 9 and 12 volts to external jacks on the back..I did use the 12v to power a 17" lcd monitor. The secondary PS has a 9 volt regulator in it to power a home made video box (shown below) The pci slots contain the delta44 sound and an ATI dual video With the onboard video I can run 3 displays... The ide cable and power goes to an external plextor cd drive. which is part of a 1/3 rack mount.. I did use 2 internal hard drives a 40 gig for the OS and big drive for the music but now that I run laptop sometimes I use an external usb drive for both.. The video box accepts either s-video or rca composite and using distribution amps supplies 2 videos out . It has the standard stuff out of a rf modulator with the channel 3/4 switch The 2 rf outs are split with the transformer out of a co-ax splitter. video box |
