Oh, you need whisky!!

I mean, sure, we could ALL use some whisky, it's friday night after all.... but I mean, the SS singer... whiskyman. He does a great Merle:)

I had QowboyVern do that one with me once, and he did a great job too.

Can't wait to hear it g/f......   :dancin:

PM me, I have his email addy..... I'm sure he wont mind if I give it to ya, he's gonna do a duet with me also.... one I've been DYING to try. Go listen to him, you'll see what I mean, he knows his Merle.

Of course, I could recommend ALOT of guys who would do great on that song. Whiskyman just came to mind, cause I've mixed so many Merle songs for him lately. He knows how to record and send you a bare vocal track though... that's what he does with me. :)

It's been too long since I imbibed, and I have a few issues I need to discuss with the bottle anyhow... see if it can give me any answers.  LMAO

Now, now let's not get catty  LMAO
I'd volunteer but I can't even get a recording to submit to SS of myself let alone a single track ... and I have a tough time with some of Merle's stuff because some of what he sings too high for me ... I don't know about "Politically Uncorrect" as I haven't heard it yet.

Geez, you know Tammy, it could sound downright hysterical to you country fans if it were put in my hands--I just don't have that thing going for me! I've been trying to do Ray Steven's version of "Misty" (a great recording by the way) and the damned thing just eludes me...I think you really need a southern accent to pull it off!

But, tell you what...if bobz is tied up or you are plumb outta luck, give me a holler--what the hell! I'll give it my best shot!

Michael

Michael when I first glanced at this I almost thought it said you were trying to record "Mississippi Squirrel Revival"....now THAT I would looovvveeeee to hear...I dare ya!!!  LMAO

Hehehe...anyhow...Bob and I are planning to do a version of this together with some added harmonies, etc. as soon as he's feeling better and we get a chance...that cold he thought he got rid of has come back with a vengence.  :(  So he ain't tied up YET...but I'm workin' on it...   LOL

If you are game I would like to give this song a go with you as well...plenty of sites to post on!  :)  I think you'd have fun and I think everyone would enjoy hearing you singin' some Merle :dancin:
