Does anyone know if there is a limit to how many karaoke songs you cam import in the winamp media library. Thanks! |

I dunno bout free Winamp...I got the 19 buck paid version of winamp Pro and I can plug in a 320 GB hard drive full of music files with no problem. |

I downloaded the demo of compuhost and thought i would love it. I actually like winamp better. even the free version. Especially like the mojo dancer plug in! I just need some 1 doller bills! |

I dowmloaded it last night but havent got to really use it yet. I'll try to play around with it a little more! I cant find where it has singer rotation or not. Dont know if you really need it or not though |

I suggest it if you have a need you want to satisfy quickly...and then wanna tweak on your sound system and not spend lots of time on software..... For me, it has always been sound first, then software cause the mechanics of sound come easy to me whereas as all software has a learning cure that is sometimes as cryptic and involved as any great video game....so I always reserved the software till I had hours of free time to dig deep into it once I got the mechanics down. Karafun is just a simple and quick start that I recommend as a first hosting app.....Users will get used to it and then discover if it is missing something they need and maybe move on. I am a firm believer in 'learn first to walk before you attemp to run'. |

[/highlight] I agree! I'ver been a musician for about 15 years. I've done the whole band thing. I actually have a music ministry and I travel a lot! I used to hate karaoke But then I figured I might as well join them. I have a great sound system (yamaha) all the way. So I dont mind spending a little more for what I want. Its just got to work! And If I can get the same thing for free...WHY NOT! But this is the fiest laptop I've ever had and I'm tires of changing disks every song But back to karafun, Its not bad. It will do for now. Did you re-install the CDG pluging to the new Winamp folder? |

You may need to uninstall both the old Winamp and the new Winamp, then reboot and reinstall the new Winamp AND plugins in the same directory.....It seems I had to do that when I upgraded to Winamp Pro. |
