thanks for that info knightshow and danny.
danny, you mentioned the limitations of MTU to a solo act. I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. Do you mean it won't take the backing vocals out as well as the lead? If so, MTU's newest version says they've gotten that worked out. The way CDs are produced it's viually impossible to take ALL the vocals out anyway, without ruining the accompanying music.
OR
Do you mean creating a CDG (or fixing a CDG with incorrect lyrics) is limited to one color?
I have several burning programs, such as win media, roxio creator, i-tunes, jukebox....will these programs work to burn the finished files? I've seen it talked about that the graphic and mp3 files are created seperately and "fused" at the time of burn. How does that work?
Please forgive my ignorance on this. I am "old-school" haul your CDGs to the gig, buy new ones when they wear out, trying to learn a new/better way
I was referring to limitations of Home Producer which only allows one setting of colors of the lyrics. Vogone has always been in the forefront in vocal reduction/elimination and I won't take away from that especially now that it does more than center panned vocals.
Again in my opinion MTU has one of the better writing programs but you might be better off if you don't have an MTU compatable drive to use Power Karaoke's as it works with some recorders that MTU's doesn't although Microstudio is supposed to be compatable with more drives than it used to be.
