Does anyone remember that Jian has a pet Civet?? I just saw one on Larry King Live just a few minutes ago.  It was so cute.  I immediately thought of you Jian and what a humanitarian you are to have saved your pet from being eaten or killed.

Yes, this guy Jack hannah was on and he brought a bunch of different animals.  The civet was brown and had orange eyes and sat on Larry Kin's shoulders while Jack talked about how they used to be considered a delicacy in China and sold for 200 dollars a pound. I was sad when I heard that.

But he was really cute.  He also had snakes, turles, armadillos, foxes, bunnies, hedgehog and some other animals.

That's' the kind of program that should be aired more often. Larry King shows is syndicated in many Asian countries. I love that guy with his black rim spec.

Agreed Jian,  Had I known I'd have watched it.  That's the type program that's good watching, not the rest of the violence and sensationalized crap aired for ratings at the expense of others tragic events.  Jack Hannah's been around for ages, some of the animals he brings are really entertaining to watch. I like his programs. I watched him on Carson, Letterman, and all sorts of shows for years !  Some of the lion and tiger cubs he had on the Carson show were hilarious.. Especially Carson and the chimps.. A few of the animals freaked Carson out too...those were funny shows  LOL

Oh man, Johnny Carson and the animals...I think they all knew that he was a funny guy cause it seemed like the animals would always do something strange to him..

I am hoping to catch that Larry King again this weekend(do they replay those?).  I only saw the last 30 minutes.  I love shows like that.  Seeing animals that you would not normally see.  And it's different than seeing them in the zoo.  I like to learn more about them.
