'scuse me mr tech person sirrah, I had a lil prob last nite...decided I would try recording using onboard and playing back using external I got really really bad static on one track that I transposed up what would the reason be? All others were fine...well they werent but that was the singing

That's a lot of tweaking, huh!

But you know...Seriously....If you were to buy a DAW from someone like Sweetwater for big bucks, they actually do most of that tweaking before they ship it....Otherwise, the computer is really no different than any other store bought machine that has been upgraded with a pro audio card and maybe a little more RAM.
