Zoom Karaoke disc #ZM3066 has two songs, I'm really interested in.
One is Chris Farlowes version of 'Out of Time' the other is 'River Deep Mountain High' by Tina Turner. Has anyone heard these versions and if so would you recommend them for purchase?
Thanks,
James

Zoom cd's are like $5. Spend the few bucks if you want the songs.

Mind sharing where you've seen them for 5 bucks, most of the sponsored vendors of this site are going 17-19 bucks. Even Ebay is hitting around 15 bucks on most of the zoom series. So if you know of a place in particular, please lemme know, thanks.

Among the British Kj, Zoom is the number 1 choice followed closely by SC.

That's the only versions listed in my KJPro.

That's odd, because they do list a bunch of Zoom discs.

You can listen to them here :

Zoom karaoke discs on karaoke company

Zoom karaoke discs on HW Audio

can't think of any others that have the mp3s to listen to.

Absolutely worth the money, great cover versions! Personally, I am a big fan of Zoom and Sunfly, due to the European market that they cover.

Nothing wrong with your opinion. Most people just find that SGB is way to noisy.

I've never had a zoom disc, but in other forums many folks have spoke very highly of their quality. They also seem to have a lot of titles that other MFR don't have.

Zoom are quite good quality audio and do have  a lot of songs not available anywhere else. I rate them an 8.

I have never heard of Zoom. I don't live in a closet when it comes to
karaoke. Why have I not heard of them? Feeling dumb here

You haven't heard of Zoom because they are based in the UK.

I think they are pretty good quality, but overpriced considering most of the discs cost the same as SC discs and they aren't that good or consistent.

I think the best thing they have going for them is that they produce alot of songs that are hits in the UK that are not here in the US, and are essentially karoake versions of songs we would consider deep cut tracks.

For example, you can find EVERY SINGLE Oasis song ever made on Zoom, while there are only about 6-8 made here in the States. On the flip side, I bet you can find those AWFUL deep cut Spice Girl tracks as well.

Have a look at their mp3g listing, @ $3.20 per download.

But they do cover a lot of ground the local manus (USA) don't cover.

Not just UK, but Europe and Africa

Zoom = Total 17 Spice Girls tracks
SC = Total 19 Spice Girls tracks
CB = Total 27 Spice Girls tracks
