Please help.
Somebody travelled across Russia? How There?
I Am going to go here, advise, what route is better for choosing? Of what agency to take advantage? On the internet it is a lot of sites offering these services (gotorussia.com, russia-travel.com, 3btours.com, russia.com, etc.), but it were would be desirable to hear opinion of people which already there.

I went there for 3 weeks when I was 16 (back when it was the USSR)--I seem to remember we had to cross the Atlantic....

If an american travels to visit Russia today.  How free is the person to travel on their own,  to go off the beaten path ?  How smart, or dangerous is it to travel a country such as Russia that way these days ?  I know NOTHING about any of this. I'm not even sure if this is possible.


Also,  Can a person travel from the United States to Cuba directly under any conditions these days ?  or must flights go thru Mexico or Canada still ?  (Non-government business that is)

First I'll say this.  I didn't lose anything outside of this wonderful country.  So I won't be going to look for it.  

Second of all, Americans in general now should consider themselves targets for Unamerican activites that could include your death, at the hands of some overly religious nut case, in line for the virgins.    :drool:    And they don't have to be in a sandy, hot, oil overflowing country. (THE NUT CASE)

Third, traveling off of any well beaten path, at any foreign destination, invites death.

Fourth, this world is not the place we grew up in.     Nobody cares or acts like Americans.     So don't think you can go overseas and expect to act like you act here.
Stay here and be somewhat safe.   You take a big chance in other countries.   Look at the Aruba case.    The legal systems and hospitals are not what you would be use to.   So don't get hurt or in legal trouble.   Or "accidentally" fall off the boat.

I been to Russia many times, but I sneaked in there on a little fast attack submarine...It wasn't like we could tie up and go stroll the boardwalk, you know. We were there to spy, not play tourista....I miss the cold war!....no I don't

You think Ii should marry her?...She claims she cooks and loves housework...She sent me pics of her using a broom...she was wearing this little apron and her stuff was sticking out all over-kinda ripping at the buttons.....It looked like she gave good dinner and didn't yak too much.....I admit i kinda daydreamed about me coming in from work with mud on my boots and she scurried round sweeping up behind me and shooing me toward the table where my dinner was steaming hot waiting for me.

Keith,  have you checked out a few of those Brazilian sites ?  

Some of these international "romance" sites will get you traveling the world faster than Bigdog does.

Yehaw!...you would love it...those babes wear thongs to church(catholic)...they get upset if you don't treat them trashy....They demand you slap them around and cheat on them.....bless their hearts....South America is drama central....those gals got it packed in the trunk and it ain't junk....They start flashing those angry latino eyes and jabbering and waving their hands at you and you just have to grab them and wrestle if you want some peace n quiet....then it's snugle n eat n sleep till next time....If you like spice, then go there....Went there in 78 on a Unitas cruise.
