| Post subject: | Backing up karaoke??? |
Hi all, I wanted to know if there is away I can back up my karaoke dvd? What I have done so far. Burnt the image of the the dvd to my hard drive, and then there are 3 folders, audio_ts, video_ts and midi0. But can't get it to play in my karaoke player, Im i do something wrong? |

Burning a DVD copy requires special software. Do a search for the software. |

There are several options out there to copy DVDs! Nero is one that's popular. What brand of Karaoke dvd do yo have? |

Nero won't copy the midi0 file, where you can play it on my karaoke player. My karaoke is Arirang. |

Yes, it is a Korean brand. When i try to burn it with nero all that play is the video file, so i can choose the song on the disk. |

You might try Dvd Fab. Works well for standard dvd's. Not sure if it supports a dvd with karaoke on it. For standard cdg's I recommend Power Cdg Burner. |

did you try what Bill is recommending? Talk to the folks that do powerkaraoke... I bet they have something that will work! |

I used a trial version of CloneCD to copy my CD+G's and it worked great. They also make a DVD version that may do the trick |
