it seems the folks at Bix are holding another contest via Karaoke Scene although this one is strictly audio.  ATM, i know you entered the last one...what did you think?

Ladies and gentlemen...Karaoke Scene Magazine is pleased to announce the first KaraokeFest Online Singing Competition! Now anyone from anywhere in the world can compete in an official KaraokeFest contest without leaving the comfort of your home or office. This competition is truly for everyone from everywhere.  And it is free to enter.



This contest will start on August 11th and run until September 15th. There will be a male contest and a female contest. Both will be an audio contest (webcam not necessary) so everyone can enter. Each contest will award cash prizes for the 3 performances with the most votes. First place wins $500, second $250 and third $100 for each contest! Additionally, the top 10 vote getters in each contest will receive a free webcam! How about that?



Winners will be announced at KaraokeFest at the L.A. County Fair on September 17th (you do not have to be present to receive your prize). Winners will also be posted at www.KaraokeScene.com and www.bix.com.
