Rat Shack...$5.99 That is why I no longer go to Best (aka Worst) Buy. I go there looking for something and the flunkies they hired are playing on their cell phones, or just total clueless. For (@$%!) and Giggles once I aske their repair dept how much to change a MOBO. They could not quote me a price beacuse they first had to run a "diagonostic", which cost $40 before they could fix it. I asked what the diagnostic was, and they had no clue. I assume it probably involved pluggin in the computer to see if it would boot. |

$0.99 for my used one!! Why would you want to convert S-Video to Composite Video, or vice-versa?? I can't think of a single component that would HAVE an S-Video in/out and NOT also have a composite video in/out. What am I not thinking of? |

I had to use that on my KJ PC. It has a video card with a s/vga and S-Video out. The s/vga I use for my monitor, and the S-Video to Composite Video converter to my 13" monitor

I dont have the schematic handy I think it is 4 that has the video If you connect to a comp video you dont have color the cap puts the chroma burst back into the signal to sync the color. It was just another gimmic to make money. |

Yeah, but I make 30/hour to just sit and watch TV, if I solder anything it goes up to 45/hour plus time to break out tools and clean up afterwards.........and let's not forget time to test the finished product!LOL!
I'll never forget the guy who wanted to hang around and chat while I fixed his stuff....He finally noticed that I was simply sitting there listening to him and not working. he finally asked me when I planned to start work, I replied that I would start work whenever he stopped talking...That he was paying me 45/hour, if he wanted to pay me to talk or work, it was up to him....The guy quickly sat down and shut up. |

What am I not thinking of? To run a TV at Karaoke. My Laptops both have S-video out for the 2nd karaoke monitor (singers monitor). I convert the Svideo to composite, and run the cord to the TVs with composite input, no S-vidoe input. |
