So I am checking out Lonman's website..Which is cool by the way...And I see that his song list is online..I get all excited...I run into the living room and tell Rich...Guess what?? I can print Lonman's list and that way I'll be ready whenever we go to one of his shows!!!!
Keep in mind I am as happy as a clam singing and while I am telling him this I am bouncing around with a smile from ear to ear....You know what he says to me...OMG!!! you are not printing his whole list...You are nuts...I told him well...at least I'm not out buying mixing boards and $600 cordelss mics!!! I may be a karaoke junkie but at least I am a cheap one...I just wanna get on stage and sing... someone else can buy all the equipment...then he tells me that he has been looking at mixing boards...aarggg!!!!
What is a girl to do????

Do you think you can print out his book before you run out of ink?
You'll have to buy more.

I use to print my books at work, on overtime, until the superintendant got a little mad about it. No sense of humor. Becareful, you don't want to lose your job and have to do karaoke for a living. Or do you?

Why do we want ot hear about how long another man's song list is? I'm starting to get envious and jealous.

Is a trip being planned?
I need to update, I just got some new discs so it will be updated by the end of the week.
You can also print request slips & have them filled out & ready. I get many people that come in completely prepared for the night.

I heard the trip might be the 28/29th or August. I may be mistaken tho. The Canby/Portland visit fell apart. So if its going to happen it will be at the T-Bird in Tacoma. Check with Isis I believe.
As to Lonnies songlist----I can vouch for it------as Ive actually PHYSICALLY run my fingers through it---and it is a SUBSTANTIAL listing indeed! 9000+ tunes--no repeats--pretty much all SC material--with a few others just to round it out. Peavy sound equipment and the most bewildering array of sound processing gear I've ever encountered. Just a tremendous sound set up.
You can see his sound rig and collection of CDG's in the background on the KS Photo Gallery's "OUT ON THE TOWN" section--shots I took when I visited him to do the KS Magazine feature story/article on him and the T-Bird a few months ago.

Keep me posted on actual dates---so I can see if I can make it.

Isis (Sharon) is the person with the most specific time table and I believe she was going to visit Lonman's show on Saturday, August 26. She may want to correct me, but I believe that was the date.

I also have some family research I would like to do about my great grandfather who was an Irish cop in Portland.

Chuck, I'm not sure if I can make it either up to Tacoma. I'm on a limited budget right now and with gas prices, etc..... well we'll see how things go when the day gets closer. I haven't heard for sure if Charmin is going or not.

It would cost me hundreds of dollars just to drive there and back not to mention hotels and food.
