Hey guys, I guess I'm just blanking right now, but I want to do another song like lollipop as in acapella with the harmonies, but I can't find ANYTHING but the chordettes and I really don't want to sing another oldie.  ANY suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated and if anyone wants to join in and sing with me let me know.

Yeah, the Chordettes were cute but sheez, only two hit records.  I enjoyed your job on "Lollipop" quite a bit! Let me see here......well, I know a lot about this crap so let me throw out some names---see if you can listen to a sampling of some of these groups in !Tunes or something and if you like any of them, go from there!

"Rag Mop" by the Ames Brothers (this is a great one and so what if it was originally by some guys--works just as well for gals).

"Rum and Coca-Cola", "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy", "Bei Mer Bis Du Shoen" (probably have that spelled wrong but something like that) by the Andrews Sisters

"Mairzey Doats" by the The King Sisters (I remember my mom teaching me this and singing it front of the class in 4th grade--I was a sensation!)

Some others my friend just suggested: Itty-Bitty Teen-Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" by Annette Funicello--in fact she did a lot of these "cute" numbers, as did Lesley Gore, so you might want to look through their discography for some possible ideas.

If I think of some more, I'll be sure to pass them on.  Good luck,

Michael
