Post subject:  My Three Songs

I am a host of RCM Karaoke in Newmarket, NH.  We host one show a week every Friday night.  We are also computer geeks and have a website specially designed for our patrons.  One of the fun aspects of the website is a new weekly game called "My Three Songs".  We provide three clues to three songs located somewhere on our website.  The three songs all have a common theme based on the artist name or song title.  There is hangman clue to the answer.  I am curious to know if the clues and or process of solving the weekly puzzle is too difficult for someone who is not familiar with out show. Please feel free to play the game and offer your feedback.

It wouldn't be showing my age if I mentioned that each time I see the title of this thread I start thinking Fred MacMurray ?   Right ?

Does this site have Bingo night yet

It is actually Fred you hear playing that theme song by the way...he was a former sax player with a danceband. Sorry, just noticed this and thought I'd add to the confusion....

Did my three sons ever make it into color television ?  or was this before 1964 ?  I don't recall.  I don't watch nick, so when I recall an old show, it's OLD... Haven't seen reruns

Yes, I believe they did make it to color.

I was surprised that Dark Shadows did.    I don't remember it being colorized, and I watched it around mid 1960s. In fact I was watching General Hospital followed by One Life to Live, followed by Dark Shadow's at 4 PM.  4PM of course was when I turned the TV off.  That was a strange show.   LOL

My dad kept us in the dark about "color" TV.  It was always, "Michael, vy da hell de ve vant a color TV? I'll haf you know ve haff the BIGGEST black and white TV screen in all off New Jersey!" (he sometimes, to add more effect referred to it as a "monochrome" set).  I seriously think he was waiting for 3-D television before getting rid of that set (a portion of it is seen in the picture of me I was using as an avatar with me as a kid wearing the fireman's hat).  It was THAT big!

All I heard for the first year (when color television become affordable to the general consumer) was

"Don't sit too close,  It has radiation !"

Oh Jerry's much more than simply a man of monochrome,  he's quasi-faceted.  He's also a man of monotony. LOL
