It's actually not a bad little system for a starter system & smaller clubs. |

One thing I liked on this system that if you want to add to it all you have to do is buy another one. You can then use one system as the left and the other as the right channels. For $800 I don't think that is to bad to double you size. The sound on it is Real clear even at high volume. I just wanted to see what some of the pro thought about it. Thanks For the thumbs up. |

I heard one in a small beach club one time (about 2500 square feet, 30 or so people), and it sounded really good!! The disadvantages I see are that the mixer and amps are built into the subwoofer, so if one goes, you are out of commission and have to fix the whole thing. I assume you can use an external mixer with this system, or else it is a huge disadvantage that you can't make adjustments on the fly very easily since the controls are on the BOTTOM of the subwoofer. |

The amp is built in to the sub enclosure and the connections are on the back with the gain controls. It does not have a built in mixer just a crossover. I use a Yamaha mixer board. Once I get the gain set on the b-52 I just leave it alone and control everything from My mixer. |

You must be thinking of another system - there is no mixer built into this system. But the disadvantage if the amp blows, the entire system is done until fixed, no limping by on the other speaker. There isn't any connecting an external amp to it. |

You can power the B52 Matrix Satalite speakers with an external amplifier, but the sub can not be powered. The Matrix 2000 is a better option. More power a 18" sub vs a 15" and 12" mains vs 10" |

The Matrix 2000 is a better option. More power a 18" sub vs a 15" and 12" mains vs 10" Well we were trying to stay in his $1000 budget for his entire system, so the V1000 would suit it much better, while still sounding better than the little 'packaged' systems like the Fender, Peavey,, etc. |
