Got to the gig and the bartender that worked the night of the big fight, delivered my ice cold beverage of choice. She said boy, did he make a big mistake on the fight night. I told her I know, but what could I say to him?
Started to play at 9:30. Two singers and 20 non singers. :O
10:30 23 singers, 75-80 people total. Now I'm getting a little upset.
11:00 30 singers and 80-90 total people.
I ran over to the bar owner and proceeded to tell him in no uncertain terms,
that the heavy drinking, fun seeking, fun having, non singers had to go. He said why? I sobbed :( and told him for the past 14 years, 8 with him, that I have been doing everything totally wrong, as far as karaoke. I next explained that I had just learned from this site, how good karaoke was really to be done. And that the non singers, because they were out numbering the singers, were screwing up everything and sucking up all of the fun. I demanded that he make them take their wallets and go as fast as possible. That the extra income they bring in, would only add to his misery. That if he couldn't learn to make a living from just the singers, then I would have to quit. I won't let you ruin my reputation, so you can use me to make extracurricular money. No way, the karaoke forum has spoken and I listen to and believe every word as gospel. :worship:
No more will a bar owner use me to make extra money from those sneaky, fun having, money spending non singers.
Not on my watch. From now on it's SINGERS ONLY!!!! NON singers, scourge of the earth. I spit on you.
