I was in the process of getting my stuff ready for a show and found that several pieces of my equip[ment was missing. Some jerk decided to steal both speakers and both my new wireless setups (one was A dual handset Hisonic wireless and the other was a headset unit). So now I gotta replace them (probably will forget the headset as it was an el cheapo anyway). But as far as the handhelds, I'm gonna see if the guy who I bought them from has another set as in testing them at home I noticed that I had not had the sound quality from any other set of wireless except from my shure unit. As for the speakers, I haven't decided on what to replace them with yet as they were custom built. I am working with a Sountech power amp that 8 ohm rating is 235 per side. |

I had a kj that this exacted thing happen to him. Since his equipment was home his Home owners insurance covered the loss. They even payed for the music that was stolen but at a reduced rate. |

the person I live with isn't the theif. We've narrowed it down to two individuals but can't really prove it so I have no choice but eat the loss and replace the equipment out of my pocket. Sucks though as I had tested out my new wireless mikes and they sound as good as an old shure mike I use to own. |

I apologise.....bad joke. Did you report it? Does it have any identifing numbers on it? Start checking pawn shops. Get some new locks. I doubt if renters insurance would have covered, it since it's used for business. They might require a special rider. Still wouldn't hurt to check on some. Erie is who I have. Get an Inland Marine policy, like they get for boats. Sounds crazy, but.... |

My policy on the equipment is an Inland Marine policy. Like they use for boats. I see Nationwide does boats, check them for the equipment. Good news. |
